Ok, allow me a minute to get on my soap box about Cologuard. First I have no problems with Cologuard, they have a great product. However, I wonder if logically they are necessary.  My point is when it comes to cancer do you want a 92% or a 100% chance of finding out if you have cancer. With Cologuard in a clinical study, 13% false positives , 8% false negatives. I am telling you bad odds. To be sure, 100% sure if you have cancer is to get a colonoscopy.  My stupid bozo brain just excepted the negative results from Cologuard because it was easy, poop, scope and send; easy.  Ok you see my IQ is 2 points below plant life. For the non professionals that means I am stupid. That being said my stupidity and being a coward gave me stage 4 cancer.  If I would have gotten a colonoscopy back in 2010 it would have been caught early. If you are 45 years or older my advice is to grease up, bend over and get the probe!
